We cannot identify you by using these cookies.

As you may be aware, most websites use cookies. They won't cause any harm to your device. Cookies don't tell us who you are or give us any personal details about you. The data they help us collect is anonymous.

We cannot look at your journeys across the web using these cookies.

If you choose not to accept our cookies you will still be able to browse geata.com and access all its functionality, however you may find you need to keep selecting some of these preferences on every page.

More About Cookie and Similar Technology

Cookies may be distinguished by who is setting the cookie on your device when you visit our website. A "first party cookie" refers to cookies set by us as the controller or operator of the Site or a processor acting on our behalf. Also, cookies are sometimes characterized by their duration. A "session cookie" is a cookie that is automatically deleted from your computer or device when you close your browser, whereas a "persistent cookie" is a cookie that remains stored in your computer or device until a defined expiration date (and sometimes up to one year). We use session-based cookies for such things as to provide services to you while you navigate our website; and increase website security. Persistent cookies are used for such things to enable us to remember you each time you visit our website; keep track of your preferences in relation to your use of our website; and serve you more relevant advertisements or promotional offers.

We may use tools such as Google Analytics to analyze and optimize the performance of our website. When you visit geata.com, Google Analytics uses cookies to note if your visit was made because of clicking on online advertising such as banners, video ads, search engine advertising, etc., and will also record which adverts, AdWords, etc. guided you to our website. We use this data to improve our advertising campaigns and to judge the effectiveness of content. All this data is anonymized.

Google Analytics and our other third-party service providers may collect personal information about you for their own purposes and you should review their privacy policies to understand how they collect and use your personal information.

We may also employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. tracking pixel), that help us track referrals from our partners and affiliates and better manage content on our website. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are extremely small and embedded invisibly on web pages.
